So Chinese of me to get 8 this week, it seems to be the first time since at least 2007 that I've managed that, cos I haven't gotten 8 tips right in a week . Let's hope that I build on that after a slow start, and reclaim my rightful title as FYF tipping champion.

Congratulations go to alf for taking the crown and breaking the stranglehold the mighty dtra had held on the fyf tipping competition for the past few years. That was a really terrible second half of the year, looks like dtra averaged about 4 a week for ten weeks, that's not going to get it done. 103 must be the lowest score for several years (if not ever) for him, while alf's 107 total is not particularly great, it was enough in the end.

Footy tipping for 2010 has been added.

Can dtra win by 1 point for a third year in a row? time will tell.

Just thought i'd post a note about having won the tipping contest on the last game of the season, showing true grit and determination in the face of adversity and many hardships along the way. It was a well earned and well deserved victory, and commiserations to all the losers in the competition, lift your head, there's always next year.

Having fun dtra? ok... time for some "real" news. FYF is back and its all written in ASP.NET. You might notice a few missing areas, probably pretty much all areas. But at least footy tipping is ready to go!

Most of the other stuff is coming. Reporting and the results pages are pretty much done (not that we use them any more anyway), just need to fix a few things up. That is all.
